New John Deere Mid-Frame E-Series Skid Steers Feature Optimized Boom

MOLINE, Illinois (December 17, 2013) — John Deere's newest additions to the E-Series line of skid steer loaders and compact track loaders (CTLs) feature design and performance enhancements based on on customer feedback. Two skid steer models (318E, 320E) and two compact track loader models (319E, 323E) join their large-frame brethren introduced earlier this year.

 MOLINE, Illinois (December 10, 2013)—John Deere's best-selling G-Series Motor Graders now meet Final Tier 4 emissions standards with the implementation of a John Deere PowerTech™ EPA Final Tier 4/EU Stage IV engine. The engine update also allowed engineers to implement several customer-inspired ideas to better meet the needs of today's operator.

John Deere Construction Forestry Announces Engine Conversion Kit

MOLINE, Illinois (October 15, 2013) — To help support the use of John Deere equipment around the world, the Construction & Forestry Division is bringing to market a retrofit kit that will enable John Deere Interim Tier 4 (IT4) machines to be sold in countries where ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD) fuel is not available. ULSD is diesel fuel with 15 parts per million or lower sulfur content.

Construction Forestry Technician Program Adds College in North Dakota

MOLINE, Illinois (September 12, 2013) — In partnership with RDO Equipment Co., John Deere is expanding its C&F Tech initiative to include North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, N.D. The John Deere dealer technician job training program is a two-year associate's degree that enables students to troubleshoot, service, repair, and rebuild diesel equipment used by customers nationwide.

John Deere Produces 250,000th Backhoe

DUBUQUE, Iowa (March 1, 2013) — Today, the John Deere Construction & Forestry Division marks a production milestone with the completion of its 250,000th backhoe loader at the Dubuque Works factory. The model 310SK backhoe loader was purchased by Phoenix-based NPL Construction Co., who took delivery of the machine at a special ceremony at the Dubuque Works facility.
